We maintain consistent communication with property managers and management companies by email or telephone to ensure all issues can be resolved in a through and timely manner. We take pride in being able to tailor to each client's expectations and needs. SCSS provides security consulting and hazard risk management to reduce any liability and cost to the association. SCSS uses a uniquely designed security management system (“Temperature of Security”) that allows the Board of Directors to control which aspects of the security services provided they feel is the right fit for their community. This format can also be used to address specific concerns and needs on a monthly basis.

Southern California Security Services provides the following community safety services:

      24 Hour Vehicle Patrol

      On-Site Foot Patrol Security Officer

      Parking Enforcement and Permit Tracking

      CC&R’s and Rules and Regulations Enforcement

      Daily Reporting for Security and Maintenance Issues

      Special Events and Pool Monitoring

      CCTV Camera Monitoring and Camera Placement consulting

 

Additional services may be rendered per the request of the client. If any additional services are required, a written proposal will be drafted and included in the scope of services and cost. All Southern California Security Services personnel are trained in the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) Powers of Arrest.


Vehicle Patrol

Officer patrols are conducted in a marked security patrol vehicle adhering to the Bureau Of Security and Investigative Services standards. Vehicle patrols are high visibility and alert residents of the security presence. Vehicles will patrol all interior, exterior roadways and perimeters of property.


Foot Patrol

Officer will perform random foot patrols of the premises to its entirety. All HOA violations, maintenance and safety hazards will be documented in a daily report. Individuals found to be trespassing or causing a disturbance will be removed from property. All Security Officers will be provided with the proper equipment and tools to best carry out their duties.


Parking Enforcement

Our Officers follow all California Vehicle Codes as they pertain to private property with regard to Fire lanes, handicap, guest and permitted parking. Citations and towing can be handled per Association policy. If Officer observes a vehicle in violation of California Vehicle Code off property of community, the Local Authority (Parking Enforcement) will be contacted to report the specific vehicle.


Daily Reporting

The SCSS commitment to the property is to provide Management and Board of Directors with daily reporting of all issues including but not limited to: Maintenance, Crime, Vandalism, Theft, Trespassing and Safety Hazards. We pride ourselves on a direct line of communication to Management Companies to quickly expedite any safety or security concerns so any additional action can be taken immediately. Instant reports can be sent per the request of Management or the Board of Directors.


Special Events

SCSS can provide security services for special events at additional cost. The scope of the work will depend of the type of event and the number of personnel needed.


CCTV Camera Monitoring

Camera monitored services can be provided per an additional charge and will be monitored off site from the community. Any suspicious activity seen will be reported to closest vehicle patrol or foot patrol officer. SCSS is not responsible for camera maintenance or outages.
